Adventures in Veterinary Medicine

What does it take to become a veterinarian?  Consider participating in the Adventures in Veterinary Medicine (AVM) Program at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. One week sessions are offered in June for college students.  Admission is competitive.  Day programs only are available; you can inquire about local housing options.  AVM will give you a realistic look at what attending veterinary school is like. They will show you the many roles a veterinarian can have.  You’ll have lectures from clinical faculty, engage in hands-on activities with animals, participate in labs and attend clincial rotations shadowing 4th year students.
