Special Session: Early Assurance Informational Meeting
UB School of Medicine Early Assurance Info Session
On Tuesday, October 20 at 4:00-5:00 p.m. in 145 E Student Union, Dr. Charles Severin, Director of Admissions of the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Associate Dean for Medical Education will be speaking about the Early Assurance Program at UB’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Early Assurance is a program for highly qualified students to apply to UB’s School of Medicine by February 1 of their sophomore year. If accepted, they are assured a seat in UB’s Medical School two years later (after they graduate).
Early Assurance has several requirements including a 1400 (required) or higher SAT and at least a 3.75 science and non-science undergraduate GPA.

All interested freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to attend this meeting; however, the eligibility requirements noted above are absolute.
Sophomore students who are interested and eligible to apply should meet with one of the prehealth advisors as soon as possible in regard to the December 1 Prehealth Committee deadline. Students should call 645-6013 to set this appointment.
