Registration Opens June 14 for August 19 Computerized MCAT

This announcement is from Ellen Julian, PhD., Associate Vice President, Director/MCAT

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is pleased to announce that registration for the computerized August 19th MCAT will open by June 14, 2006. A regular paper-and-pencil administration also will be offered on August 19th, but given the positive feedback from students who have taken the computerized MCAT, there is sure to be a healthy demand for the 4000 seats available in the August computerized administration. Therefore, alert your students today and encourage them to register (on or after June 14) for the August 19th computerized MCAT

The computerized version of the August 19, 2006 MCAT will be identical to the paper-and-pencil version offered the same day. However, the testing day for the computerized version is often about two hours shorter than the paper-and-pencil test day, due to greater efficiencies and less overhead related to computerized testing.
