New summer research opportunities at Columbia University/Barnard College

Through the generous support of the Amgen Foundation, Columbia University/Barnard College now offer a summer research program to a select group of motivated undergraduate students. You may apply if you are a US citizen or permanent resident and currently a sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior at a four-year college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico or other US territory. Students work full-time in a research lab and receive a $4,000 stipend and housing. The Amgen Scholars’ Program runs for ten weeks, beginning the Tuesday after Memorial Day. All Amgen Scholars will participate in a conference in California sponsored by the Amgen Foundation.
