CO-SIGN Student Club Info and Meeting Announcement
CO-SIGN is UB’s College Student Interest Group in Neurology academic club. The mission of the club is to stimulate interest and support students interested in behavioral neuroscience and clinical neurology.
CO-SIGN holds bi-weekly meetings in Park 366 and plans to make it a habit to discuss “news and views” and interesting articles from neurology and neuroscience journals, offer students many research opportunities, provide important information and advising based on member experience, as well as opportunities to shadow physicians.
They also participate in various community service events and those offered by the Student Association.
The UB CO-SIGN website is here .
CO-SIGN is part of a national group - the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) .
The mission of SIGN and CO-SIGN is to foster student interest in neurology by providing opportunities for students to participate in clinical, research, and service activities in neurology; to increase the student’s neurologic knowledge; and to create an interest in the AAN.
CO-SIGN will be holding their general meeting at 366 Park Hall, THIS Thursday October 8, at 7:00pm. The E-Board will introduce CO-SIGN and discuss upcoming events, volunteering, shadowing opportunities, and get acquainted with each other. There will be Wegmans pizza and refreshments.
CO-SIGN is meant to stimulate interest in neurology and behavioral neuroscience, so anyone with the slightest hint of interest is very welcome to join us this Thursday.
