Latest APMS Announcements
This message is from Sydney Domanowski, president of APMS.
Hi everyone!
I have tons of announcements, and I’m sorry if this is really long, but I want everyone to have as many opportunities as possible to volunteer.
1) The only Ronald McDonald House with open spaces is the December 5th Dinner from 3:30pm-7pm. (std2@buffalo.edu)
2) Diabetes Walk at Coca-Cola Field on October 17th. Please e-mail lburkard@buffalo.edu for more info.
3) We still need more people to work Bills Games! We get paid by the number of people we supply for each game. And then at the end of the year we get a “bonus” according to our profit. We also get a free meal voucher for each person at every game and free parking. We have to have every member who can work go to the orientation October 21st from 6-9pm at Bills Stadium. There are 4 home games remaining we would have to commit to. All of the remaining games are 1:00 games, so we would have to work 10am-5pm for each game:
*November 1st
*November 29th
*December 20th
*January 3rd
You can work whichever games you are able and if you want to have friends do it with you, they’re more than welcome! We are working with AED and Pre-Dental to do this, so friends from those clubs are welcome too! Also, if you go to the orientation and work at least 2 games, you will be able to attend our CPR certification course for FREE in the spring.
4) The Sarkin Race on UB South Campus is Sat. October 24th. Please e-mail std2@buffalo.edu for info.
5) Christa will be making Trick-or-Treat Bags for Children’s Hospital on Sunday, October 25th. E-mail cfmcphee@buffalo.edu for info.
6) We will be holding a winter clothing drive for the Buffalo City Mission in early November. We’d like to make this a campus-wide event and get bins in the residence halls and throughout campus. Please e-mail mdm34@buffalo.edu to help him coordinate this event.
7) There will be any informational Army ROTC session about their Health Professional Scholarship Program on November 4 from 6-8pm in NSC215. Free Pizza and refreshments will be available. E-mail mjs83@buffalo.edu for more info.
8. We will be hosting a Buffalo Bills Party at the Kaleida Waterfront Nursing Home on November 15th. Also, if you’d like to volunteer at any time at the Kaleida Waterfront, contact us also, as we can connect you with their volunteer coordinator easily. Please e-mail sckahn@buffalo.edu for info.

I’m currently working on making a calender to send out to everyone. As soon as I find a program that everyone has, I’ll get it done. Thanks so much and have a great week!
