UB Against Cancer Event

UB Against Cancer, who plans the Relay For Life on campus, has scheduled a Carrabba’s fundraiser. We are selling 100 tickets for lunch. Half the proceeds go to UB’s Relay For Life program. If we sell all the tickets, we will have $1000 to cover more of Alumni Arena which costs us close to $7,000, so any little bit we can do … will totally help us! Please spread the word with your friends and colleagues about joining us at Carrabba’s on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009, from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (doors open at 11:30 a.m.)
Menu includes: Bread with olive oil and herb dipping sauce, Caesar Salad. Chicken Marsala, Penne Pomodoro, Sogno di Cioccolata “Chocolate Dream” for dessert, and hot and cold beverages. Tickets ($20 donation) can be purchased in 235 SU from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Payment can be made by check or cash, checks must be made out to UB Against Cancer.
We are working on having a small basket raffle, as well as selling our Save Second Base T-shirts to support breast cancer awareness. If you are a breast cancer survivor, please let me know when purchasing your tickets.
