If you are interested in learning more about professional health careers, are you asking questions such as, “What do I need to do?” and “What do I need to know?” and are you asking yourself, “Do I have what it takes?”, then this page is the place for you! Whether you are a UB freshman or sophomore, high school student, high school counselor, or parent of a student, you will find the basics of what you need to know here. Please watch our videos, read the Prehealth Handbook (PDF) and Resources (particularly the FAQ at the bottom of the list of options).
Remember, prehealth advising at UB is for students who are Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Dental, Pre-Medical, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Podiatry, Pre-Veterinary and those pursuing graduate public health programs and post-bac programs.
Other offices on campus exist for the advisement of pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and exercise science. See the Advising website for their contact information.
