Ohio State Optometry Visit Day
We welcome prospective students, advisors, alumni, and friends to our Admissions Visit Day on Saturday, April 1 from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. The event will navigate students through the admissions process as they participate in workshops focusing in on the OptomCAS Application, Optometry Admissions Test (OAT), Interview Skills, Financing Your Education, and Shadowing an Optometrist. In addition, our faculty and students will lead tours of our clinical facilities and classrooms. You’ll have an opportunity to talk directly with current students, faculty, administrators, and alumni throughout the day.

The fair will provide the opportunity for advisors to meet with admissions officers during a lunch and learn session. Students can talk one-on-one with admissions officers and current dental students.

The event, being held in conjunction with the 2014 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition, will take place on Saturday, March 15, from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX.
The ADEA GoDental Workshop and Recruitment Fair for Predental Students and Advisors is a unique forum where prospective dental students, current dental students, admissions officers, financial aid advisors and dental educators come together under one roof. More than 300 predental students from across the United States are expected to attend.
ADEA is offering a limited amount of travel stipend vouchers, available on a first come, first served basis to individuals and school groups traveling from outside of the San Antonio area. Students can submit their request for travel stipends when registering for the event.
